Princeton, NJ. January 10th, 2009...... NJSA 04 was the club best represented at the New Jersey Youth Soccer 21st Annual Awards Dinner. The NJSA 04 Gunners as National Champions were the feature team of the night as they are the first team from NJ to win a National Championship in 20 years. The NJSA 04 Celtic were one of only 2 boys teams to win the Region 1 Championships. On the individual side, Ross Tetro was recognized as being the only NJ player on the ’94 US National Team. Honored for their ODP Regional accomplishments were Daniel Metzger ’93, Nick Villani ’93, Brendan McSherry ’94, Mael Corboz ’94, Ross Tetro ’94, Ethan Decker ’94 and Alex Ramos ’95. Mike VanWagner from Trenton won the NJYS Coach of the Year and Sue Glass won the Recreation Coach of the Year.
