The U-11 Girls played out of a very tough and competitive bracket to in the end seize the championship cup. Their first matchup was against Albertson Fury 97 who they defeated handidly with a huge 4-0 win.  The Blast’s next opponent was the Jackson Pride where they won 3-0. The following day they met up with Penn Legacy who they were able to hold off and finish with a tie of 0-0. The Blast had the highest points in the bracket to move on to the semi-final spot. In the semi-finals, NJSA 04 Blast battled the D’Feeters 98S from Texas. The Blast was down 2-0 at half and rallied back to finish regulation in a 2-2 tie. The game remained tied through overtime. The Blast came out on top in PK’s to win and advance. In the finals, they met up with PDA. Again the girls came back from being down 1-0 at half time to tie the game. Neither team scored in overtime and again PK’s decided the winner. Through some great shooting and great play of their goalie, NJSA 04 Blast came out the winners of the FC Delco Cup.
